Receiving awards

Hello everyone!

It’s Idol Hair Awards season again, and we are incredibly excited to begin viewing all of your 2023 entries. Something we are very proud to share about our 2023 contest, is that we have added in greater protections for salon professionals and the integrity of the contest. Why is that needed? Unfortunately, in recent years, we have had some bad actors who have submitted work that is not their own or work they were not permitted to submit. We have even had to disqualify entries.

So, in an effort to protect our awards—your awards—we will not be able to nominate your work without prior verification and acceptance of our terms and conditions below, which validate the following:

You are a licensed professional, cosmetology student or apprentice.
The work you are submitting is yours and you are permitted to submit the work.

The winners will be notified of the results by the Idol Hair Awards and the steps to receive the awards on December 31, 2023, via:

Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Youtube

In any case, failure of a winner to claim a prize after thirty (30) days from the date of publication shall be deemed a waiver of such prize and reward.
If Idol Hair cannot contact the winner, or the winner violates for any reason, Idol Hair will reserve the right to decide on an alternative winner or not award such winner’s prize at Idol Hair’s sole discretion.

✪ CASES THAT WILL NOT BE AWARDED

Stealing other people’s videos.

You will be liable:

A: Being responsible for the video owner: When they complain.
B: Being responsible for the contest: Illegally profiting from the contest when receiving the prize.
C: Being prosecuted for legal penalties in stealing video & fraud to appropriate property.

✪ CASE OF WINNING ONE PRIZE

The prize is given to one person: Name of that person, name of his/her Barber Shop, or name of his/her Hair Salon.

✪ CASE OF WINNING 2 PRIZES AT THE SAME TIME

For this 2nd prize, the winner can honor his teammate.

✪ RECEIVING THE AWARDS AT THE AWARDS CEREMONY:

If we hold the awards ceremony in your country and location near you, please come and receive your award.

If you are too busy, choose to receive your award at home.

We will deliver it to your home.
Bonuses will be converted to brand-sponsored products valued at $1000 instead of cash.
You will receive everything at home.
We will pay the full delivery fee.

Note: If your country charges a gift tax, you must pay it.

If we do not hold the awards ceremony in your country and location near you.

You must receive your award at home via Gift delivery.
You will receive everything at home.
We will pay the full delivery fee.

✪ 3 STEPS TO RECEIVE THE CHAMPION OF THE IDOL HAIR AWARDS AT HOME

1. Take photos of your valid ID Card and send them as proof you are over 18 years old.

Your ID Card is used to sue you if you steal someone else’s video to participate in the competition. We do not use it for any other purpose. If so, we will be liable.

2. Download the “Award Request Files” file and print it on paper. Fill in your information and sign in ink all 3 pages (according to the legal policy in receiving the prize).

3. Verify you are the video owner before receiving the award.

Record a video at your hair salon and hold the Award Request Form.
This video must match the landscape of the video that you have submitted for the contest.
If the hair salon’s landscape has changed, you must prove this video is yours in your own way.
If you can’t prove your video with the 3rd verification step above, you won’t be able to receive the award.
